Raufoss Technology, a manufacturer of automotive suspension parts in Boisbriand, is investing $18M in increasing the production of aluminum parts for electric vehicles. As a result, 35 new jobs will be created.
The Rayonese plant, which manufactures mattress fabrics in Saint-Jérôme, is closing after 75 years. The plant is laying off 177 workers to relocate part of its production to North Carolina in the United States.
