Construction for the new hospice wing in Moose Jaw’s Pioneer Lodge is almost complete. The renovated space will include three new palliative care rooms, library services, and a kithcennette. Construction will finish by March and a ribbon cutting will be scheduled for April.

Construction for the new La Ronge Long-Term Care Home is halfway complete and expected to finish in 2027. The project began in 2023 with partial funding of $100M from the provincial government and local labour and suppliers. Upgrades will include various living spaces, a commercial kitchen, and a cafeteria. Future renovations will add a new adult program and new hemodialysis unit.
The Town of La Ronge is implementing a new housing incentive program to encourage housing construction and residential land development. The town is looking to build 58 housing units by offering new developments $10,000 per new unit for up to three units, and $15,000 for developments of four or more new units.
