Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Adult entertainment establishment. Urban area. Tasks: Clean bar area and wash glassware. Hire and dismiss staff. Train staff. Collect cash, credit/debit cards or other payment for beverages. Record and balance beverage sales. Order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock. Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations. Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer and non-alcoholic beverages. Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons. Supervision: 3-4 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Bartender/Mixology Certification Course. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Standing for extended periods. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication.
