Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Trim trees to achieve the desired pruning objective such as crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, espalier pruning, vista pruning. Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides and other lawn care products. Plant and move trees. Tree removal. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certification. Arboriculturists Trade Certification. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Attention to detail. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Personal suitability: Client focus. Flexibility. Organized. Reliability. Team player. Punctuality.
