The Metis Nation of B.C. is working with the City of Campbell River to acquire four properties on Dogwood Street to make space for the creation of 40 affordable housing units and a daycare facility. MNBC has committed to purchasing the properties, which currently sit empty, at fair market value.

The Songhees Nation has received $20 million in funding from provincial and federal partners to build a 66-unit apartment building in Victoria. Units will be offered at below-market rate, with residents paying no more than 30% of their income. Construction is underway and the project is expected to be complete by early 2025.
