The trucking company will provide career opportunities to First Nation members with plans to reinvest profits into Snuneymuxw community programs. Sarlequun Transport Inc is currently looking to hire truck drivers, mechanics, and logistics staff.

BC Ferries has submitted a plan to the BC Ferries Commissioner to replace four of its vessels and add one new ship to increase its transportation capacity. BC Transit’s first electric vehicles will begin operating in Victoria in early 2025, following last year’s $395.5 million investment from the federal and provincial governments. The transit agency plans to add 141 electric buses next year.
