The Ministry of Environment and Parks has announced that the $7.2M Tribune Bay campground redevelopment on Hornby Island is nearing completion. The campground is expected to fully open on June 10 with 66 gravel sites, 24 electrified sites and improved beach access. A second phase of the redevelopment is expected to start in 2027 and will include an additional 45 sites.

The City of Victoria is installing 100 new bus shelters by the end of 2026, including 88 replacements and 12 new installations. Funding for the project comes from BC Transit and Astral Media Outdoor. Pre-construction activity has begun on a new three-court indoor recreation facility at UBC Okanagan.
