The Government of British Columbia is providing $155M to reforestation projects to plant over 125M trees throughout the province, including over $13M for Indigenous-led projects. This funding is in addition to $200M from the Government of Canada to support 16 large-scale and targeted projects to restore critical habitats, conserve biodiversity and support wildfire recovery announced in May 2026.
